I was playing mech1 on xbox live, when I heard a guy say "Yo dude, I'm really liking that new chromehounds game." to his freind in the game. "Oh really?" "Yeah, it's really complicated because it has tons of things lie recoil to worry about, and I usually don't like complicated games, but this is awesome. I keep dying and I don't have much money though."
"Dude!" replied his freind. "You can buy that stuff?!"
"Yeah, you join a nation and you borrow your first mech from the nation. THen as you win, you get more money to buy new mech parts and weapons. You can build your own mech and there are so many parts man, it's not even funny."
ANd that was pretty much all the interesting stuff. But that's awesome! You can buy new mechs and buiold them yourself! That sounds cooler than I thought. I thought it would be cool, but just another giant robot game, where you pick which one you want, and blow the crap out of everything. Only this wasn't mechwarrior, just some new robot series. I thought it would be boring.
But I guess not.

Found a review on IGN for chromewhounds. It explians more about hte game, but apparently, the actual fighting has nothing much to it other then aim, and shoot. Not much didging or anything. xbox360.ign.com/articles/718/718234p1.htmlBut they have an iproved kind of conquest mode like mech2. Only now, if you conquer everything, instead of just being able to say, "Yo! we have the entire galaxy!" only to have a planet taken 2 minutes later, you win the war, and the game is reset and a new war begins. Also, this is like a MMORPG game in the fact that instead of just choosing a map or a planet that has a set map, (If I understood correctly) there are different cities that can be attacked at at any time. But they didn't give a big long description on how it works, but it sounds much better then the mech2 conquest.

Looks pretty cool. Too bad I don't have an Xbox 360.

Me too. If I got a 360 right now though, I'd get this game. Of course if you were to buy a 360, you woul need about 460 dollars (If you got the one iwth wireless controller and the hard drive.)
